MARÍA GABRIELA MORALES ENDED HER TERM AS TRANSLATED IN ARGENTINA PRESIDENT

 

María Gabriela Morales, founder and director of Rosario Traducciones y Servicios SA, ended her term as first president of Translated in Argentina (TinA) in September 2019. TinA is the first Translation Association in Argentina and Latin America, whose mission is to bring together all translation stakeholders to facilitate networking and champion industry growth.

 

The first Steering Committee appointed officers were: Angélica Pérez (delsurtranslations), secretary, Juan Baquero (Baquero Translations), treasurer, Fernando D’Aloia (Latin data), officer; Ignacio Luque (Patagonia Translations), alternate officer; Eugenia Echave (Latamways), account auditor, and Milena Rossi (Latamways), alternate account auditor.

 

When introducing the new officers to the audience during the conference, Gabriela highlighted the camaraderie and teamwork displayed over her two-year tenure, which made it possible to cement TinA’s presence in the industry.

 

The new Steering Committee officers were elected during the second Latin American Translation Industry Conference organized by TinA, which took place in Córdoba city on September 14th and 15th.

 

The Steering Committee officers appointed to the next two-year tenure are: Agustina Pioli (Latamways), president, Juan Baquero (Baquero Translations), treasurer, Cecilia Poratti (Essence Translations), secretary; Fernando D'Aloia (Latin data) and Natalia Quintás (Terra Translations), officers, Karina Sanguinetti (Patagonia Translations) and Manuela Lamas (Terra Translations), alternate officers, Hugo Rizzi (Stillman Translations) and Daniel Taricco (Rosario Translations), account auditors.

 

Rosario Traducciones congratulates Daniel Taricco on his appointment, as well as all elected committee officers, and wishes them a successful and prosperous term.
